FAQ’s

Can my garden club come to this event? 

We love all groups/clubs/organised social activities of any shape and size. We have had many garden clubs and social groups visit us, including school excursions, tourists venturing up Mt Tamborine and care groups. Please make sure you book your tickets in advance so we can cater to you.

Can I do a photo shoot in your gardens?

We welcome you to utilise our beautiful bamboo gardens for a photo shoot during opening hours, whether for personal content, a family shoot or a fashion shoot. We usually charge a $66 per hour fee for all photography sessions. - But for this event, access is free.

• We do not provide photography services,
• You must book in advance and speak to a staff member to discuss logistics.
• We ask you please remember this is a functioning business with customers onsite and to please be respectful of our gardens.
• All rubbish must be taken offsite.

Can I bring my dog on site?

Provided they are family-friendly and on a leash, please do! We love all members of your family including those on four paws. Please be respectful of the gardens and keep all furry friends on the path. And bring doggy bags with you to clean up after them. We reserve the right to ask you to remove any animals if we deem they are upsetting other patrons.

Is your garden centre pram/wheelchair accessible?

We have gravelled pathways around the majority of our nursery and gardens at our Wongawallan site, making the experience for wheelchair or pram users certainly possible but a little tricky in a few spots. However, during wet weather, the grounds become less user-friendly.

Our restroom facilities are also very accessible. We have an environmentally friendly waterless toilet which is used by both staff and the public. And it is odourless!

• Please note that the maze is not wheelchair and pram accessible.

Is there a cafe onsite, or can I have a picnic there?

There is no Café yet! It is certainly in our future development plans; however, we do have a vending machine in the shop with cold drinks and snacks available for now, as well as a coffee van on Sunday, and a sausage sizzle on both days.  - perfect for a quick bite or a thirst-quenching drink.

PICNICS 

-You are welcome to enjoy a morning tea or lunch at our site, however, please be respectful of our grounds, staff members and other visitors. It is recommended to bring a picnic blanket and we ask you to clean up any rubbish and food scraps. Some mozzie spray may be helpful after periods of heavy rainfall. No open flames, barbeques or alcohol permitted on site. Please complete any activities by 4:30 pm for a closing time of 5 pm.
